Ito Castle, Japan's only continental-style mountain castle, was built during the Nara period.
Within this castle, we grow a variety of agricultural products, including cinnamon.
Nurturing life within a castle.
It means choosing to pass on approximately 1,300 years of history to the future without destroying it.
Today, we continue to quietly work with the soil in order to protect this special environment.
The gentle scent of cinnamon spreads from mouth to nose as you savor this delicious drink.
It was Tsuyoshi Shiraishi , representative of IzumiyaRoqji,who was responsible for developing this product.
A farmer in Itoshima,Fukuoka-Pri,Mr.Shiraishi also devoted himself to discovering the best size to cut cinnamon leaves,and how much to dry them for making tea. After three years,working by trial and error,he completed the recipe for the ideal tea bag cinnamon tea.The leaves used in the tea come from cinnamon trees grown locally in Itoshima and nurtured only by the fresh spring water of the area without the use of any pesticides or agricultual chemicals.The cinnamon tea contains no preservatives,and is 100% organic.
